Hello and welcome to The Left Hookery. My name is Tamsin and I am the face behind The Left Hookery. I've always loved crafting and creating beautiful things but when I discovered crochet I knew I'd found my perfect match! Several years on and with our home bursting at the seams with my handmade creations, I took the plunge and decided to share them with the world...if only to clear a path to the door and give me an excuse to continue to indulge my yarn habit! The Left Hookery has developed into a passion to design and create beautiful bespoke modern crochet items.

If you take a look around my online store you can see that I have a love of chunky yarn.I really enjoy working with recycled cotton and repurposing old items into new ones. Sustainability and reducing waste is really important to me.

I love organising. My desire for everything to have a home has helped my design of a range of standing and hanging baskets - creating unique, contemporary storage for every room.

And lastly, I love sharing my passion! My kits and patterns have been designed with care to be suitable for all abilities - from the first timers to the seasoned hookers!
