Workshop FAQs

Do I need any experience?
Not at all. We run sessions for total beginners as well as more advanced hookers. Each listing will tell you the skill level, so you can find the right fit.

What’s included?
Everything you need is included unless the listing says otherwise. Just bring yourself.

What if I can’t make it?
If you cancel more than 14 days before the workshop, we’ll give you a full refund.
If it’s less than 14 days, we’ll try to resell your spot if the class is full. If we’re successful, you can choose a refund or move to another session.You can also send someone in your place, just let us know their name ahead of time.

Can I reschedule my booking?
Yes. With less than 14 days’ notice, you can switch to another date or course, or transfer your spot to a friend. Just give us a heads up.

Cancellation
If we need to cancel a workshop we'll be in touch as soon as possible. Where ever possible we will reschedule it. You can choose to attend the new workshop, received a full refund or you can move onto any of our other workshops or course if there is space, just pay any difference in cost.

Are children welcome?
Some classes are just for grown-ups, but we also run brilliant family-friendly and childrens' sessions. Age guidance is listed with each class. Children under 14 will need to bring a supervising adult,  the adult doesn’t need a ticket unless they’re crafting too.

Do you offer private workshops?
We do. Private workshops are available for children or adults. Message or pop into the studio for a chat and we’ll help you plan something special.

What if I arrive late?
Workshops start on time. If you’re running late, you might need to wait until the tutor can catch you up, but don’t worry, we’ll do our best to get you settled.

Do you have wheelchair access?
Our shop is accessible,  the main shop and studio workshop are is completely flat. Some workshops may have limited space. If you have any accessibility needs, get in touch before booking and we’ll make sure everything works for you.
